Only 1 in 10,000 casks is exceptional enough to recreate the distinctive flavour of Johnnie Walker Blue Label. Chosen from the four corners of Scotland, whiskies are crafted by Master Blender Jim Beveridge. Using 190 years of Johnnie Walker heritage, whiskies are carefully matured and blended in small batches, some from distilleries that are no longer in existence.
Johnnie Walker Blue Label recreates the flavour of 19th century whiskies - like a powerful wave that breaks to a smooth, long finish. It's a real game changer in the whisky industry, the pinnacle of Scotch whisky making from Johnnie Walker. More than an age, more than a location, Johnnie Walker Blue Label is Scotland and whisky blended together to create the rarest of flavours.
Every bottle is rare and individually numbered, endorsed by the Walker seal, found on the company gates in Scotland. Johnnie Walker Blue Label is a commemoration of Alexander Walker's remarkable 1867 Old Highland Whisky. Using blending skills honed from his father, John Walker began as a Master Blend of luxury teas, tobacco and spices.
Sample neat for the experience of big flavour, deep richness and smoke, layers of honey and fruit, and an incredibly smooth finish. A mellow, rounded nose, with a dry smokiness mixed with a raisin sweetness. The first sip yields a velvety mouthfeel, which gives way to an explosion of hazelnuts, honey, rose petals, sherry and orange flavours. Take another sip to experience kumquats, aromatic smoke, sandalwood, tobacco and dark chocolate. The finish is long and satisfying, with smoke and pepper, ending in a glorious explosion of spice.
