Johnnie Walker Black Label is the benchmark by which all other whiskies are measured, an acclaimed masterpiece of blending craftsmanship. According to whisky expert Jim Murray, author of The Whisky Bible, Johnnie Walker Black Label is the “Everest of deluxe whiskies”.

Only exceptional Scotch whiskies that have aged at least 12 years are included in the blend for a perfect balance of whiskies from the four corners of Scotland. But Johnnie Walker Black Label is more than just a whisky. It's a cultural icon that's been enjoyed by world leaders and style makers for over 100 years. The classic, slanted black label was launched over a century ago, then adopted by Alexander Walker II as the name of the blend. Then in 1934, Johnnie Walker Black Label helped John Walker & Sons receive a Royal Warrant from King George V, an honour the company still holds today.

To fully appreciate the great taste of Johnnie Walker Black Label, serve on its own over ice, or with a splash of carbonated water to reveal the exceptional layers in the whisky of rich vanilla, fresh and dried fruit, followed by a sophisticated, smoky finish.

Johnnie Walker Black Label and soda is delicious if you macerate orange peels in the soda bottle three hours before serving. It gives a delicious orange twist to the drink. Or use as the base for the classic Old Fashioned, mixed with Angostura Bitters and garnished with a cherry and a slice of orange.
