It took four years to develop this blend of whiskey from Old Bushmills Distillery and dairy cream, an exciting new product that was considered impossible. But in the end a winning formula for Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur was created – along with a whole new category of cream liqueur. Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur continues to lead the category, and is still produced and bottled exclusively in Ireland. It is now sold in over 160 markets, and in 2012 it won gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The premium dark glass bottle protects the quality of the ingredients within; a pour of smooth, velvety liquid that’s delicious neat over ice, to be savoured when you’re relaxing with friends. You can add Baileys to warm coffee, make a latte by mixing Baileys Original Irish Liqueur with milk and espresso coffee, or add to hot chocolate. Then there are some classic cocktails where Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur plays a major part. Combined with coffee liqueur Kahlua you have the Mudslide, which can be layered or shaken. Or create the stunning-looking B52, where it’s also layered, along with Captain Morgan Dark Rum and Kahlua.
Baileys Original Irish Cream can also be added to baked cheesecake for an indulgent twist on this classic dessert, or poured over rich vanilla ice cream and eaten with a spoon for a tasty sauce topping.
