How to make

  1. Fill an ice tray with gummy worm sweets, one to each square, and add water.

    Place 12 gummy worm sweets, or one per space, in an ice tray. Top each with water.

  2. Add different food colouring, then freeze.

    Carefully place 1 to 2 drops of food colouring around each gummy worm sweet, with one colour per space for a varied effect.

  3. Fill a glass with the coloured, gummy worm sweet ice.

    Add 2–3 gummy worm sweet ice cubes to a tumbler glass.

  4. Pour Smirnoff No.1 and top with ginger ale.

    Pour Smirnoff No.1 and top with ginger ale.

  5. Garnish with orange and lemon slices.

    Using a sharp knife and chopping board, cut wheels of lemon and orange and place on top of the drink to garnish.
