    Optional Chocolate Flakes to Garnish
  • Makes 140 ml, serves 1, 1.4 units of alcohol per serve

How to make

  1. Split the cardamom pods and add the seeds to the coconut milk along with 1 star anise. Pop in the fridge to infuse for a couple of hours.

  2. At the same time you can brew a strong coffee, leave to cool, and then chill in the fridge.

  3. Strain the infused milk through a tea strainer or sieve.

  4. Add ice to a short glass, combine Baileys, coconut milk, coffee and whiskey and stir gently.

  5. Add a dash of bitters and garnish with 1 star anise and a sprinkle of chocolate.

  6. Optional - dip the rim of the glass in melted chocolate and place in the freezer before you use.
