The Walker family wished to make Johnnie Walker Red Label the world’s most popular whisky, and didn’t give up until they had achieved that goal. In a world that used predominantly rounded bottles, Johnnie Walker became the most recognised.
Johnnie Walker Red Label combines lighter whiskies from Scotland’s east coast, with darker, peatier examples from the west coast, each with differences in flavour thanks to ageing and location.
