    Hickory Chips
  • 2.5 units of alcohol per serve


How to make

  2. Add pear oak bitters, Lillet Blanc, Johnnie Walker Platinum Label Whisky and Johnnie Walker Blue Label to a shaker.

    Using a jigger, measure 1 dash pear oak bitters, 20ml Lillet Blanc, 10ml Johnnie Walker Platinum Label Whisky, and 45ml Johnnie Walker Blue Label Whisky into a cocktail shaker.

  3. Add ice and stir.

    Add cubes of ice to the shaker and stir thoroughly using a bar spoon until well combined.

  4. Strain over ice into a short glass.

    Strain with a cocktail strainer into a tumbler.

  5. Light some spruce, rosemary and hickory chips and set next to the drink.

    Fill a small bowl with a sprig of spruce, a sprig of rosemary and a handful of hickory chips, and set alight with a match or blowtorch. Present alongside the tumbler containing the drink.
