Baileys Honey Bee

Invented by top contemporary bartender Dale DeGroff, this sour-sweet version of the classic Julep brings in honey to balance the sour-sweet grapefruit, and adds the classic mint garnish for a fresh, aromatic long drink.
Add 4 mint leaves to a cocktail shaker. Using a muddler press down on the leaves to extract the flavour and juices. Add crushed ice to the shaker.
Using a jigger, pour 50ml Ketel One Vodka, 50ml pink grapefruit juice, 5ml honey, 10ml lime juice and 5ml grenadine into the shaker.
Shake the mixture vigorously using the cocktail shaker until the surface of the shaker feels cold.
Strain the mixture using a fine strainer into a tall glass.
Place a small sprig of mint on top of the drink to garnish.
Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
