Subtly sweet, tangily sour and with a delicious edge of elderflower, the Glitterball is an enticingly flavoured cocktail, served in a champagne flute, that’s perfect for celebrating.
Fill a mixing glass with cubes of ice.
Using a jigger, measure 40ml Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve, 20ml elderflower cordial and 15ml sour syrup into the shaker.
Using a barspoon, stir the ingredients together for 20 seconds, until fully combined.
Strain the mixture into a champagne glass using a cocktail strainer.
Add 30ml soda water to top up.
Using a vegetable peeler, cut a twist of orange peel, and curl onto the top of the glass.
Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
